Overview:

A Secure Access Module (SAM) is a device used to authenticate transactions. It can be used in Payment applications (between the terminal and the host) and other applications such as loyalty, identity, healthcare, logical and physical access controls.

SSC SAM Specification V1.0
KMC (Key Management Card) for the PBOC market
